what is reiki?

Reiki (Ray-Key) is a Japanese word that derives from “rei” meaning universal and “ki” meaning life force energy. Every living thing has life force and we are all connected to the universal energy. When we become aware of our energy, then our mind, body, spirit can stay healthy. If our energy level remains low or always drained, we are more susceptible to illness and stress. This seems like common sense, although we go through life not really understanding our own personal energy, energy of others, or energy of our enviornment.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese way of the awareness of energy discovered in the early 1900's by Dr.Mikao Usui. Dr. Usui was a spiritual scholar and through his own journey became intune with energy. He traveled and helped others through their healing process with his knowledge of energy. Through the years Reiki has been practiced by many different energy practitioners and Buddhist monks for centuries. It is a modality that can help you reset and replenish the energy in the body. Awareness of your energy can help you ease stress, clear the mind, help you make decisions in life that better suit your energy.

I see all ages including kids, teens, and young adults.

*Cancellation List - I do offer an options to add yourself to my cancellation list. To be on the cancellation list you need to have an appointment already booked. If something comes up earlier than your appointment (and you requested to be on the cancellation list), you will receive a text with the available date and time.

Jenn is a certified affiliate member of the International Center for Reiki Training and a certified affiliate member of the Reiki Membership Association as a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki. She has built her energy practice since 2014 in the community of Inman Park, Atlanta. Jenn has also completed RYT200 teacher training with Pranic Soul Yoga in 2018, which incorporates certification for Kundalini yoga, Vinyasa yoga, and Ashtanga yoga and Meditation practices. She has studied with Kate Drummond in Level II certification of Auric Light Alchemy. She also has experience and knowledge in working with sensitive children, intuition, aromatherapy and crystal therapy in which she incorporates in her Reiki sessions for clients when needed.
