BOOK A REIKI SESSION WITH JENN  |  THURS + FRIDAYS

Reiki (Ray-Key) comes from the Japanese words ‘rei’ meaning universal and ‘ki’ meaning life force. Every living thing has life force or energy. When this energy is balanced, then our mind, body, spirit can stay healthy. When the energy level is low or imbalanced we are more susceptible to illness and stress.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of healing developed in the early 1900’s by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki has been practiced by healers and Buddhist monks for centuries. It rebalances and replenishes the energy in your body stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Reiki can ease stress, clear the mind and help to relieve physical ailments. It is not a cure for illness but can relieve symptoms and help strengthen the immune system which is often lowered by stress.

Your first session with me will be about 90 mins. There after a 60 min session will be a 30-45 minute session with a 15 minute consult. During your Reiki session, you will lie down on a table (fully clothed). I will assess your chakras and a light touch will be applied along the energy centers, including any problem areas. Essential oils and crystals can be used during a session. Most clients report a tingling sensation, heat, coolness, light twitching, and over all relaxation. Each experience is unique to you.

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN + A CHARACTERISTIC OF MY SIGN THAT I HAVE: Scorpio

HOMETOWN: Atlanta, GA

I’M INSPIRED BY: The people that I surround myself with.

QUOTE: “We are not physical beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a physical experience.” ― Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

DOES THE FULL MOON MAKE YOU FEEL OUT OF WHACK or DO YOU THINK PEOPLE THAT TALK ABOUT FULL MOONS ARE WHACKY?  Full moons definitely make me feel different each time. Our bodies are made of 60% water, so why wouldn't the moon effect us?!  I really do try to make sure I meditate and set an intention during the energy of a full moon.

GO-TO KARAOKE SONG: Any Beastie Boys song or Rob Base "It Takes Two"

LAST BOOK I READ + MY FAVORITE BOOK: I am always reading about 4 books at a time. This is such a hard question for me. I just read "Becoming A Baddass" by Jen Sincero. My favorite book - too hard to choose. I love learning, so I am always reading some kind of self help book ++ I do love getting lost in a fictional book.

MY DAILY BALANCING TOOLS: I do a lot of these, and my goal is to always stay consistent. I walk barefoot, use essential oils, meditate, do yoga, sage regularly, and I utilize crystals in my space, I also wear black tourmaline.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU HAVE LEARNED THAT YOU LIKE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS: Power of the pause. Instead of thinking of the next thing you want to say in a conversation, pause and listen. Its so surprising the change it will make and the things you start to notice.
